Bridging the gap between CCIE RS and SP

Good rest is half the work

…but rest also breeds rust and so a month of rest comes to an end. Time to hit the labs and documentation with rejuvenated energy. The last month of complete sp-lab-thought-blackout has been good. This was the third month I have taken off away from the labs and whitepapers since starting RS at the start of 2008. It is becoming a bit exhausting and the thoughts of where I could have been with honours/masters with the time spent leaves a bitter after taste. Never the less I shall push on , i’m no quitter. I would have preferred to push through and sit the lab again as soon as possible, but due to the limited seats, this was not to be. This makes it tough and at the same time a better engineer.

First I will need to work on a study plan. Perhaps more focus on the IPX vol2 marathon labs. I want to try get these done in 6 or less hours. And then… well I don’t know yet.

  1. Insightful… I’m glad you’re rejuvenated and I’m looking forward to seeing how your approach evolves (partly because I can learn from others, ie, you) and see how I can apply it to my own approach.

Looking forward to reading your blog again too!

    Best of luck!
