This blog is intended to answer some of the non-technical questions I had during my journey to mount RS. Hopefully this will help or encourage some CCIE hopefuls. All the information, claims and figures on the blog are genuine and portayed to give the most accurate idea of what is required to achive the goal without taking dishonest shortcuts.
The next goal of the blog will be to answer the question, what the distance is between RS and SP. I hope to obtain SP in the third or fourth quarter of 09.
Hello,
Nice blog you got out there.
I would soon be starting with the SP track (already done with R&S last year)and would like to know few things, I know this can take u long to answer, but would appreciate if u can answer or post a link that can be useful.
- upto what extent SP lab can be simulated on dynamips. What features are not supported on dynamips ? What routers/IOS will be required.
Thanks mate,
Zealot

Hi Zealot, in short you can rely solely on dynamips for the SP track. Get comfortable with it before you start, as this can take a while and can be frustrating at first.
